Hey Creative Scrapbooker Fans!  With Easter right around the corner, I thought I would share with you today an Easter card for that special someone in your life. Using the Butterfly Kisses Collection from Bo Bunny, a variety of dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs, stamps, stones and embossing powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies and a variety of products from Ranger Ink, I was able to create this beautiful Easter card. You’ll want to make sure to grab a cup of your favourite beverage, as I will show you how to recreate this project in the comforts of your own home.

Using the Gatefold – Elegant Rose die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, die cut the gatefold out of Tutu Double Dot from Bo Bunny.

With the gatefold cut out, trim two pieces out that measure 2” x 1 ¾”. Apply Emboss It Ink from Ranger Ink to both pieces. Once the ink is on the pieces, sprinkle Iridescent Embossing Powder from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies over each piece. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Using the Curvy Leaves die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, die cut four -three leaf leaves and two – two leaf leaves out of Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. With the leaves cut out, blend Bundled Sage Distress Ink from Ranger Ink over each leaf set. Shape the coloured leaves using a leaf tool and leaf pad.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the Fowl Line stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the Fowl Line stamp onto a piece of Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. To colour the stamped image, use Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn Distress Markers from Ranger Ink. Once the image has been coloured, go back over it using a Watercolour Brush from Ranger Ink. If you want to add colour back into the image, go back over with the same colour of marker.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the Bunsket stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the Bunsket stamp onto a piece of Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. To colour the stamped image, use Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, Ground Espresso, Pumice Stone and Mowed Lawn Distress Markers from Ranger Ink. Once the image has been coloured, go back over it using a Watercolour Brush from Ranger Ink. If you want to add colour back into the image, go back over with the same colour of marker. Once the Bunsket image has been coloured, fussy cut around the entire image. With image fussy cut out, use Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink, to ink the edges of the stitched oval.

Apply Emboss It Ink from Ranger Ink to the Happy Easter stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the Happy Easter sentiment onto a piece of Smooth White Cardstock from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies.  Sprinkle Midnight Black Embossing Powder overtop of the sentiment. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with your heat tool. Once the sentiment has cooled, using the ¾” Stitched Fishtail Banner from Elizabeth Craft Designs, cut the sentiment into a banner. With the banner cut, trim off the stitched part of the banner.

Using the 2 ½” Stitched Oval Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, cut the stitched oval out of Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink from Ranger Ink to the Bunsket stamp from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies. Stamp the Bunkset stamp onto the stitched oval. Using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the stitched oval.

Using the 3” Stitched Oval Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, cut the stitched oval out of Tutu Double Dot from Bo Bunny.  Using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam from Ranger Ink, ink the edges of the stitched oval.

Using the 4” Stitched Rectangle Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, cut the stitched rectangle out of springtime patterned paper from Bo Bunny. Tear a bit at the top and bottom and fold forward to reveal some of the second pattern on the stitched rectangle. Using the Bunch of Flowers 4 die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, die cut five of the small flowers, five of the medium flowers and one of the large flowers out of Watercolour Cardstock from Ranger Ink. Using a blending tool and foam from Ranger Ink, blend Spun Sugar Distress Ink from Ranger Ink over the entire surface on two of the small flowers and three of the medium flowers. Using a blending tool and foam from Ranger Ink, blend Shaded Lilac Distress Ink from Ranger Ink over the entire surface on three of the small flowers, two of the medium flowers and one of the large flowers.  Using the tools in the All Metal Tool Set from Elizabeth Craft Designs, shape all eleven flowers.  Adhere the two of the pink small flowers to two of the medium purple flowers. Adhere two of the small purple flowers to two of the medium pink flowers. Adhere the last small purple flower to the last medium pink flower and then adhere the pink flower to the large purple flower. As a finishing touch add a amethyst stone from Emerald Creek Craft Supplies to the center of each flower.

Adhere one of the rose pieces to the back of the left hand side of the 4” stitched rectangle, where you’ve torn. Adhere the second rose piece to the bottom right hand side of the 4” stitched rectangle, where you’ve torn. Make sure that the embossed side of the rose pieces is facing out. Adhere the 4” stitched rectangle to the 4 ½” stitched rectangle.

Adhere a piece of light green ribbon to the middle of the card front, making sure the ribbon wraps all the way to the back. Once the green ribbon has been adhered, adhere a piece of light pink lace overtop of the green ribbon. Make sure the lace wraps all the way to the back of the card front. With the ribbon adhered, adhere the Fowl line image to the middle of the pink lace.

Adhere the stamped stitched oval to the pink double dot stitched oval. With the ovals adhered together, foam square the pink double dot stitched oval to the center of the card front.

Foam square the fussy cut Bunsket image and adhere overtop of the Bunsket image on the stitched oval.

In the bottom right hand side of the stitched ovals, adhere two of three leaf branches and one of the two leaf branches. With the leaves adhered, adhere the large flower set and both of the purple/pink flower sets, overtop of the where the green leaves join.
